I LOVE full coverage foundations! It stems from my love of a slight bit of tackiness, along with the fact that I have suffered from acne for decades now. I think I feel safer, confident and secure when I’m wrapped in a layer of skin mattifying foundation. Don’t get me wrong, I love no makeup days just as much as you, but you can’t beat a full face of makeup. I’ve also probably been paying too much attention to Mario Dedivanovic but nonetheless, these are foundations which I’ve tried and tested and am happy to repurchase because they cover EVERYTHING!

I recommend the STILA Stay All Day® Foundation & Concealer and Marissa Carter Cosmetics Full Measure HD Foundation. Both aren’t as drying as the others but not hydrating either. Use a primer to stop your skin drying out. I love Benefit’s POREfessional face primer or RESIST Smoothing Primer Serum SPF 30.
For oily skin
Both the KAT VON D Lock-It Foundation and the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup are more on the dry side, which is great if you have oily skin!
